Other than those main items you should be able to freeze most items and have your meal turn out.
Gallon or quart-sized plastic or re-usable freezer safe bags. Just make sure and get out as much air as possible by squishing the food around and flattening the bag as much as possible. Seal it tightly to avoid any spills or freezer burn as well. I have heard of people using reusable gallon sized bags as well to save even more money. Ziploc freezer meal recipes are my most used freezer meals for a month. Aluminum foil pans or your own baking dishes.
Look for these at the dollar stores where you can often get a 3 pack for a dollar. However, if you are freezer meal cooking for two you can buy the smaller sized ones. Also check your local restaurant supply stores for multiple containers as well.
You could also use your own metal pans, but you want to make sure you have enough of them before you get started. For those of you who want to take your Instant Pot freezer meals out of the freezer, and pop the frozen meal right into your Instant Pot without defrosting or thawing, these 64 oz freezable plastic containers with lids are awesome. Just make sure you also get a pack of these Sharpie peel-off markers so you can write on the bucket lids over and over again.

So I know this post of easy freezer meals can help you new moms out there too! Now, there are some freezer meals that take a long time to make but can be worth it , for example, most lasagnas. And there are some easy freezer meals are super fast to make, that you can prep in 15 minutes flat or less. The easy ones. And in order to be considered easy freezer meals they had to meet a certain bunch of my requirements. So I decided to look through some of my own freezer meal recipes on Happymoneysaver , to figure out which ones would work great for this easy freezer meals list, and found some awesome ones.
Then I decided to create some new recipes as well! Oh you guys are going to love these. Shake bag until all sides of steak pieces are coated. Seal bag, removing air. In a small bowl or place directly into quart sized freezer bag combine tamari or soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame seeds, sesame oil and red pepper flakes.
Add steak into wok and stir-fry, separating pieces and stirring constantly until the majority of the pieces have some golden or crispy edges on them, about minutes. Add broccoli, cook minutes until crisp-tender. Add sauce, and cook, stirring constantly for about 1 minute until sauce slightly thickens. Add to labeled bag the sealed steak with cornstarch bag, sealed sauce bag, and add in broccoli florets on top.
Seal bags together and freeze. Or place the whole kit in the fridge first thing in the morning so the meat will be thawed by dinner time.
Pour steak into wok, stir-fry, separating pieces and stirring constantly until the majority of the pieces have some golden or crispy edges on them, about minutes. On cooking day: 1 head iceberg or butter lettuce. Other optional toppings: shredded carrots, finely sliced cucumber, sliced green onion, crispy rice noodles. Shake bag until all sides of chicken pieces are coated.
In a small bowl or place directly into quart sized freezer bag combine honey, tamari or soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame seeds, and red pepper flakes. Add chicken into wok and stir-fry, separating pieces and stirring constantly until the majority of the pieces have some golden or crispy edges on them, about 4 minutes. Add sauce, and cook, stirring constantly for about minutes until sauce is boiling and slightly thickens. Serve in lettuce cups and top with additional toppings if desired.
Add to labeled bag the sealed chicken with cornstarch bag and sealed sauce bag. In a large bowl combine tortellini, alfredo sauce, chicken if using, pesto, and mozzarella cheese. Pour into baking dish. Top with shredded parmesan cheese. Bake, covered with foil for 30 minutes. Remove foil and let bake an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly all over.
Label and freeze. Break up frozen spinach into a small bowl, mix in ricotta and garlic. Lay down your first layer of raviolis. Repeat this layer again. Top with remaining ravioli, then red sauce, then mozzarella. Bake for 1 hour.
